Lake Panasoffkee Elementary

Better Together

Meet Our Team

Administration

Educating our future generation of leaders is my passion, and I am thrilled to serve the students, families, and staff of Lake Panasoffkee Elementary School.

I graduated from Southern Illinois University with my Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees.  I have worked in PK-5 schools for over twenty years, and I still learn something new every day!

I grew up and began my career in education in southern Illinois.  My family moved to Florida in 2016.  Since moving here, we have enjoyed the beauties of Florida and have taken many weekend trips to the beach.  We also enjoy spending time with my grandparents, who live nearby.  My oldest daughter, Abby, is an education major at Santa Fe College, and my youngest daughter, Baylie, is working toward a nursing degree at the College of Central Florida.

"Education is the foundation of all we do in life. It shapes who we are and what we aspire to be." - Julie Payette

I am honored to help build this foundation for our Ospreys, and I look forward to a fantastic year!

I am honored to serve the students, staff, families, and community of Lake Panasoffkee Elementary School as an Assistant Principal Intern. I have devoted the past ten years to Sumter County Schools, beginning my journey after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University in 2014. In 2021, I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Leo University.

I've had the privilege of working with Kindergarten and First Grade students, serving as the MTSS Coordinator, and most recently as a Teacher on Special Assignment, during which I oversaw our elementary math and science curriculum for two years.

I believe wholeheartedly that learning empowers every student. It is a true honor to be part of the Lake Panasoffkee family, and I look forward to working with each of you this year.
